You do not have to be naked in labour – you can wear whatever you like.

If you choose to keep your underwear on your baby can be born through the leg. However, most women are under the influence of wonderful labour hormones, which increases the comfort of being naked. Sometimes women wear bathers if they are in the bath or shower, or a simple crop-top if they want to be more discreet. It's really about what feels comfortable for you.
